Our goal is to provide our clients with fine-art photographs imprinted with our unique artistic vision. To create photographs that will become lifelong treasures, we like to capture children and pets and pregnant mothers in their 'natural habitat'. This can be in the bath, the bed, the garden, a favorite park or anywhere they are comfortable without distractions. Photographing them in a familiar place puts the subjects at ease so they can behave as usual.

Standard sessions will be around two hours long. We will assess lighting and clothing on site, but natural light, and everyday clothing and hair help define our documentary style. As experienced photojournalists, we are ready to document real life momements as they unfold and encourage our subjects to embrace this freedom.

We are honored to document your life in your setting; we are open to any ideas that will enhance this experience and can accommodate most requests.

A note about rescheduling:  

Children and pets can be unpredictable; therefore, should unforeseen circumstances occur before a session, please contact Twig & Turtle Photography as soon as possible to reschedule your session. Or should unforeseen circumstances occur during a session, we will rebook your session at no additional charge. Your session fee may be applied one additional time towards another session date. Should the session be canceled (clients may postpone once due to unforeseen circumstances), all fees and deposits paid are non-refundable.
